Night Shots
i2 Building Roofdeck
Asiatown IT Park, Cebu City
Went up to the roof deck of the i2 building in Asiatown, IT Park and tried some night shots. These type of shots were the ones that I was never able to achieve using my Olympus point and shoot camera, or maybe I didn’t tweak it as much as I wanted to. Anyway, I had a bit of a time trying to position the camera because I didn’t have a tripod with me; I used the edges and the bars of the building to take these photos.
Got pretty messy at some points too because I had to kneel down. There was even a creepy part when suddenly a person went up to me while I was waiting for the camera to load. When I looked at who that was, it was the security guard of the building whom I thought at first tried to stop me from taking pictures. I was already reprimanded some time ago for staying there with no business. He thought I’d probably jump off the building. harhar.
So here’s my first attempt at night photography.

Finally! I’ve been meaning to get my my own DSLR camera ever since I was able to buy my point and shoot one. Now I got one.
I own a Nikon D80 now and I’m really glad that I got it at a very good price.

I should find time in order to develop skills to learn this craft. I’m still in the process of learning the different terms and settings but because this is such a leap, I’m having a bit of a time. But I know constant practice will make me better. For now, I’m still an amateur at this.

Friends come and go. People go around and about. Nothing is permanent, nothing is real. Everything changes, nothing is the same. Friends go to cosmetology colleges, others go astray. What is there to life? One may never know unless one experiences it.

Just makes me wonder what I really want to do with life. I want art. I want photography. I want to write. I want to create masterpieces. I don’t want to end up in a boring routine, some people want cosmetology and others something else. I just want to express myself fully without any hassle and problem. Pictures, they speak more than a thousand words, it’s up for you to find something in detail

This was taken in Sugar Beach, Bantayan in Cebu. My friend was bumming around so I took a shot of her enjoying the rays of the sun.
No worries, I let the sun take over me.
