I was just working on some tasks one afternoon in Cafe Noriter in Dumaguete when I received a plurk message from one of my friends way back in high school.
Nicole: Ey Ed, let’s go around town and have a photoshoot. I want to change my blog header and plurk layout. I shoot you, you shoot me. At least you brought your DSLR.
Honestly, I was still busy with work but then I figured I could skip some time and try to get this opportunity to also practice my shots. Also, rarely have I heard Nuke (Nicole) to tell me to take pictures of her and I was really surprised at her pro-activeness of offering to be captured.
So went to the Boulevard in Dumaguete and proceeded to the Silliman ballfield/park or whatever you call it. People were really staring at us but we she didn’t care much. At least I’m not living there anymore. hehe.
Nuke, visit her site at nicole.gotdns.com

This is my favorite spot in Silliman University, Dumaguete City; the amphitheater.
I love the calmness of the place, especially around 4pm, when the sun has just set and the climate isn’t hot. Whenever I’d drop by Dumaguete, I’d make it a point that when I meet my friends who are still studying, the location would be this one.
It’s just nice, sitting on those green benches, sipping a glass of mango shake and resting while letting the time pass.

Took a picture of my friends in Dumaguete, they were the ones who toured me around the place. I set my Olympus SW790 on night mode and made sure that it my subjects wouldn’t move.

Rizal Boulevard
Dumaguete City
I got stranded in Dumaguete because the boat that I booked left me because I overslept. Since I was at the pier, and near the famous Rizal Boulevard, I got the chance to take some pictures of the place; which was my only consolation.
