We dropped by at the park in Argao before heading off to the beach to skim. Their church and the park is really nice which made me want to take some snaps at the flowers on the ground. Since we were going to the beach after, I didn’t mind squatting or and getting down and dirty just to take the shots.

Argao skimboarders

Posted on August 25th, 2009 by Ed Snaps  |  4 Comments »

Went to Argao last Monday to get some sun and sand. I’ve always wanted to go to Mahayahay beach because of skimboarding. I’m not an expert but I would like to know how to skim. I saw a picture in Youtube that Skim boarders are abound here especially during the rainy seasons which was of perfect timing since I was able to capture some shots in Argao.

Sumilon Island photos

Posted on August 8th, 2009 by Ed Snaps  |  8 Comments »

I figured I’d create this site as my photo gallery. Instead of putting my pictures in multiply, I’ll use this instead.

Went to Sumilon Island last August 1, 2009 and had a swell time since I got to check out one of the best destinations in Cebu. It’s nice especially that this was a treat to bloggers in the community. What I like most about this event is that it matches the type of topics that I normally talk about in my blogs. Anyway, here are the rest of the pictures in my Sumilon island trip.

I still have to come up with a watermark and next time, I should get the gallery plugin to work. In th mean time, this will have to do. To see the rest of my write-up about my Sumilon island trip, you can check out my blog entry about it. Click on the link below.

Hope you have some time to read it.

fields of gold

Posted on August 4th, 2009 by Ed Snaps  |  5 Comments »

I love the beach that I recall memories of childhood every weekend with relatives whenever I get to visit one.

This was taken in the island of Sumilon, Cebu on one of those rare trips that people pay you just to talk about them. Was so glad to be able to take part in this adventure and it only cost me time which isn’t that costly considering that this isĀ  a break from work.

The weather wasn’t that sunny but the waves were good. So here I go as I frolic and let the water overwhelm me. Thanks to Doi for taking these shots!

Pritong Sorbetes at Pino!

Pritong Sorbetes at Pino!
Pino! Filipino Cuisine
Lahug, Cebu City

I was able to eat at this lovely restaurant twice, both on special occasions and both were treats! I didn’t have to pay anything but just bring a camera to capture memories, so to speak. My cameras has brought me to places and has given me freebies a number of times already. Hehe.

Here are my blog entries during those two instances

Anyway, on those two occasions, we were able to order their signature dessertĀ  which is called Pritong Sorbetes which is really nice because of how it was presented. It’s actually just fried ice dough with some ice cream inside, I think.

Taken while we were waiting for our Christmas party to start. They have a lot of lamps like this, I just thought of it as something weird at first due to its position. But that’s just part of the design.
