This is the famous Apo Island where diving enthusiasts would love to visit. T’was my first time there and I was upset that I forgot to bring my underwater camera since it’s really good for taking pictures with the fishes and the corals.
I climbed this one and scratched my arm because of not having enough support but it was good.

This was taken in Apo Island, Negros Oriental - a great place for scuba diving and snorkeling. Stupid me because I forgot to bring my underwater camera so I wasn’t able to take some water shots with the sea turtles and fishes — even the corals were already good enough. Sheesh.

Malapascua Island
North of Cebu, Philippines
There’s something about how calm and homey Malapascua felt. I’ve been to a number of beaches elsewhere but somehow, it felt like this was ‘my place’.
Anyway, took a shot at the sun and played with some of the settings of my camera after I researched on how to capture the sunrise. Forgot the settings again but this time, I’m glad I was able to get a snap at the circle.

Went to Argao last Monday to get some sun and sand. I’ve always wanted to go to Mahayahay beach because of skimboarding. I’m not an expert but I would like to know how to skim. I saw a picture in Youtube that Skim boarders are abound here especially during the rainy seasons which was of perfect timing since I was able to capture some shots in Argao.

I love the beach that I recall memories of childhood every weekend with relatives whenever I get to visit one.
This was taken in the island of Sumilon, Cebu on one of those rare trips that people pay you just to talk about them. Was so glad to be able to take part in this adventure and it only cost me time which isn’t that costly considering that this is a break from work.
The weather wasn’t that sunny but the waves were good. So here I go as I frolic and let the water overwhelm me. Thanks to Doi for taking these shots!

This was taken last year, April of 2008. A group of friends and I (notice me separating myself from the group) went out to Dalutan Island in Biliran, Leyte for a holy week getaway. I didn’t really know anybody in the group; what I mean is that I knew them by face but I never got to talk to them. I was supposed to tag along with a friend who had plans to go with them. What happened was that my friend wasn’t able to make it so I had to keep a thick face just to meet up with these people because I couldn’t back out anymore. It was more of an acquaintance adventure for me because I went out with people I barely knew and yet there were no issues.
Good thing they were friendly and I was able to get along with them without any problem. A common factor that each of us have is our love for traveling which really helped.
Anyway, I was supposed to put ‘Tripod shots’ as a title but then ’strangers’ sounded more catchy. We used a tripod to take these snapshots and that’s about it. See? The current title is more interesting. heeh.
