I feel bad and I don’t feel like shooting. My D80 broke and had some malfunction going on. I have to call the service repair shop here in the Philippines. But then, shipping it to another region for repair would be such a waste of time. It will probably take months which is really hard to hold on to.

I’m keen on hiring a local tech to help me out, even if it’s for a hefty price. Anyway, I don’t feel good not having the camera functioning. It’s as if every day is a waste if I don’t get to update or just snap.

Went to Argao last Monday to get some sun and sand. I’ve always wanted to go to Mahayahay beach because of skimboarding. I’m not an expert but I would like to know how to skim. I saw a picture in Youtube that Skim boarders are abound here especially during the rainy seasons which was of perfect timing since I was able to capture some shots in Argao.

Spent a night at Jens and Bambi’s place for movies, pizza and some drinks as well. Was amazed at the flat screen and home entertainment system. hehe. Will be blogging more about it; I just had to post the pictures so my friends could grab them.

Flying Fiesta at Enchanted Kingdom

I’ve always wanted to go to Enchanted Kingdom (a theme park) when I was still a kid. When it was still new, I was probably 9 years old. I could only see the advertisement on television and I couldn’t go there because it was in another region which is far from our province. When we were in Manila, my brother had a chance to visit EK because of a field trip in their class; I was still in grade 5. I was jealous of him because I didn’t have the same chance and he was so happy when he came back from the trip.

Fast forward to 2008 (that’s 13 years later!), I finally got the opportunity to check out the place and try their rides. Although, I had a couple of failed attempts to get inside because of other events from preventing me to enter, I was finally able to get in with free tickets! Here are my blog entries about it:

Enchanted Kindom, finally!

This is the flying fiesta (aka wave swinger from wikipedia) which is one of the rides I wanted to take a shot of because of its rich color and lights. I bought a tripod and used it to take a shot while the ride was doing its round.

Somebody, that somebody is me and I’m trying to be scary, unsuccessfully. hehe.

It was raining one day, raining real hard that I had to open all the windows and doors so that the wind would pass through and the room would be cooler. Anyway, I felt bored so I brought out my tripod and took a picture of myself all looking stupid at the hallway where I’m staying.

I stay with a few housemates as well in the appartment, but we don’t mingle as much. The hallway has a potential of being in a Japanese horror flick such as ‘The Ring’ and I took advantage of the dark and gloomy day to make a fool out of myself. It was funny and embarrassing at first because there were a couple of housemates who went out adjacent to where I’m standing (that’s the bathroom by the way where I’m trying to look scary) and I couldn’t really move as much because of setting the timer properly. Good thing thick faces rule.
